Privacy Policy
Sleep Train is a calm night train game — a love story and a timer — inspired by how its creator paced himself for his wife and babies. It is not medical advice and does not promise outcomes about anyone’s sleep.
We respect your privacy by keeping the app simple: no account, no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no upload of your night history to our servers.
1. Summary
- No account or registration is required.
- Preferences and night history stay on your device only.
- No personal identifiers (name, email, phone) are collected by the app.
- No advertising networks and no third-party analytics SDKs are included.
- The app is designed for parents / caregivers, not for children as end users.
2. Data stored on your device
Sleep Train may save the following locally in the app’s private storage on your phone:
- Preference toggles (for example phase music, vibration, demo timing).
- Whether you have accepted disclaimers and seen the intro story.
- Night progress history used for Morning Report / Progress (for example quiet time, wake times, optional firefly stats).
This data does not leave your device through Sleep Train. Clearing app data, uninstalling, or using in-app Reset Stats removes stored history as described in the app.
3. Permissions
- Vibration — optional haptic cues (for example a leave-room rumble after a Loving check-in until you answer the quiet prompt, plus soft UI haptics). You can turn vibration off in the pause menu.
- Keep screen on — while a session is active so the phone does not sleep mid-ride. This is released when the app is backgrounded or paused. The night timer also pauses if you leave the app or lock the screen, so progress does not advance while you are away.
Sleep Train does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, photos, or files outside the app’s private storage.
4. Internet and third parties
Core gameplay is designed to work offline. Sleep Train does not include third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, or social login. We do not sell personal data.
If you obtained the app from Google Play, Google may process install and store-related data under Google’s Privacy Policy. That processing is controlled by Google, not by Sleep Train’s in-app logic.
5. Children
Sleep Train is intended for parents and caregivers. It is not directed at children as the primary end users. Medical and photosensitive disclaimers are shown before first use. Because the app does not collect personal information from users, we do not knowingly collect children’s data.
6. Medical disclaimer
Sleep Train is a game experience. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or guaranteed sleep outcomes. Always consult your pediatrician or other qualified clinician whenever you have health concerns about your child.
7. Changes
We may update this policy when the app’s data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. The current policy is always published at this URL.
